BIFM Qualifications at SCQF Level 6
Who are they for?
The BIFM qualifications at SCQF Level 6 are for first line managers and supervisors in facilities management and are designed to develop understanding and knowledge of facilities management matters industry. They are suitable also for new recruits into the industry.
How are the qualifications assessed?BIFM qualifications are assessed against clear learning outcomes setting out the knowledge and skills needed by facilities managers at different levels. Assessment tasks are practical and work based, reflecting live business projects and activities – a real benefit to both individual learners and their organisations.
How are the qualifications delivered?
You can choose the centre at which you study, which means you will have a choice of different delivery styles, including face to face, evening class, distance learning and online learning.
Choose the sizeQualifications in facilities management at SCQF level 6 are available in two sizes and three qualifications are available; you can choose the size to suit your needs:
- BIFM Certificate in Facilities Management at SCQF Level 6*
- BIFM Certificate in Facilities Management Practice at SCQF Level 6*
- BIFM Diploma in Facilities Management at SCQF Level 6
> Certificate – will provide you with a more comprehensive coverage of the subject.
> Diploma – will provide the full package of skills, knowledge and understanding at this level.
- BIFM Certificate in Facilities Management at SCQF Level 6 (knowledge) – Four mandatory units plus two optional to total a minimum of 16 credits
- BIFM Certificate in Facilities Management Practice at SCQF Level 6 (competence) – Three mandatory units plus four optional to total a minimum of 17 credits
- BIFM Diploma in Facilities Management at SCQF Level 6 – Five mandatory units plus five optional to total a minimum of 27 credits
