Number One Building

Entrance to offices

The entrance to Number One Building is off Bridge Street. Please press the automated intercom system at the main doors. This will contact a member of staff who will allow you access to the building. Please use either the lift or the stairs to the first floor, where we are located.

Please then wait in our reception area, where you will be met by a member of staff.

By road - M11:

From the north, take the A120 exit to Colchester at Junction 8 on the M11.

From the south, take the exit toward A120(W) at Junction 8a and merge onto the A120 (signposted Bishop’s Stortford).

The best post codes to use for sat / nav or streetmap are CM23 2ET or CM23 2BA. These will direct you to the nearest long stay car parks to our offices (being Northgate End car park and Link Road car parks respectively).

There is also a short stay car park (CM23 2EN) in Old River Lane (near the Waitrose supermarket) which is a 2 minute walk from the offices.

By rail:

Bishop’s Stortford is served via One Railway from London (Liverpool St) and Stansted Airport with average journey times ranging between 30mins to 1hr 10mins.

There is also a service that runs from the airport to Bishop’s Stortford every 30 minutes (journey time approx 9 minutes).

From the train station it is a 10 minute walk to BIFM by going up Dane Street, turning left along Hockerill Street and left into Bridge Street, or a short taxi ride.

From Stansted Airport

Taxi (journey time approx 15 minutes)

By bus - Service 510 (journey time approx 20 minutes)

There are regular services that run from to and from the airport, with stops almost immediately outside our buildings.
