About the Centre for Facilities Management Development

The Centre for Facilities Management Development applies the latest thinking to develop facilities management (FM) knowledge, people and practice.
We provide a tailored approach to meet your challenges, and can draw upon the wider expertise within the University to ensure you receive a comprehensive solution that sets FM developments in the context of the wider organisation. Being independent we offer an unbiased and realistic viewpoint.
 
We offer a range of learning and development opportunities to meet the needs of individuals and organisations at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.  The following undergraduate stages are offered BIFM Dual Award opportunities at the appropriate level.
 
Courses

Undergraduate Certificate in Facilities Management
This course is specifically designed to meet the needs of people working in facilities management in a supervisory or management position. It is an ideal first qualification in this area.
Foundation Degree in Facilities Management
This course incorporates the Certificate. It develops the skills and abilities to help you operate at higher levels in facilities management.
BA (Honours) Facilities Management
This is a one year top-up programme for people who have completed the Foundation Degree in Facilities Management and wish to progress to the next level and gain an honours degree.
This course is for facilities managers wanting to improve their skills and career prospects and for other graduates who want to enter the field.
