BIFM is committed to creating programmes that support people development in the most effective way possible for employers.

The Institute wishes to engage with employers to ensure its skills development strategy meets their needs.

BIFM hosted an Employer Engagement Forum on 21st June 2007 to share its strategy and seek feedback on the planning and implementation phases.

At the event, BIFM CEO Ian Fielder and Kim Parish, Chief Executive of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the creation of new FM units for QCA Level 2 & 3 vocational qualifications.
