The requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 place explicit duties on employers and persons assigned the duty to manage asbestos in buildings.

You must have an Asbestos Management Plan with arrangements to manage the safety of your employees, tenants, and members of the public from asbestos exposure. You must also ensure persons responsible for asbestos are correctly trained.
