BIFM 2005 Awards - 10th October 2005

Over 1,000 members of the FM community gathered at London’s Grosvenor House hotel on Monday night to celebrate the winners of the BIFM’s International Investors in FM Excellence Awards programme. Full details of the awards can be found under the individual awards headings, on the left hand side.

Impressionist Rory Bremner entertained guests before awards in the 13 categories were presented by British rower and quadruple Olympic Gold medallist Matthew Pinsent.

Pinsent was greeted with a standing ovation after the audience watched a replay of the British team’s victory in Athens.

The casino, sponsored by Workplace Law, raised over £8,000 for charity - to be split between the BIFM chairman’s charity Marie Curie Cancer Care and Exhall Grange school for disabled children.

A further £2,000 was raised through the auction of a signed Arsenal team shirt, kindly donated by Facilities Recruitment Ltd.
