The Business Evolution Award went to BDG WorkFutures with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Birmingham. PWC asked whether they could better achieve their business goals by re-engineering the space and working environment.
The result has far exceeded PWC’s initial expectations. The rationale defined at the outset of the project demanded big improvements in space utilisation and new methods for encouraging ’teams’ to work together. By removing barriers to communication PWC has transformed its ’pattern of work’ and heightened the creativity of people.
This project demonstrates that people’s productivity can be improved by adopting a process of ’business evolution’ which increases both the efficiency and pleasure of work.
