BIFM Award for Impact on Organisation and Workplace 2006

Facilities Managers are in a prime position to both recognise the needs of people within organisations and to ensure working environments are made fully responsive to these needs. The task is continuous and becomes particularly significant when organisations are undergoing radical change; at such times the Impact on Organisation and Workplace can become the key to success.

In this category judges seeked to gain an understanding of the FM strategies adopted towards a range of issues affecting organisational design.

Judges comment:

"BIFM judges, during the course of two separate visits, were convinced not only by the original thinking involved in this project but also by its careful implementation and ongoing success."

(l-r) Barry Nealon (Reliance Integrated Services), Adrienne Lawler (host), Callum Forbes (Microsoft), Nick Willis (Microsoft), Andrea Godfrey (Microsoft), Jim Ellison (Microsoft), Peter Cordy (BIFM)
