BIFM Award for Innovation 2006

Entries were sought from all areas of the FM industry where innovative solutions have delivered major improvements in service delivery, safety or cost.
 
This is an independent award for innovation in FM across every scope of service.  It could relate to technology, use of space, furniture design, service delivery etc.
 
The primary measure of success was how the innovation improved the solution to a problem and could range from the simplest (and least expensive) to the most complicated rationalisation.
 
Judges comment:
 
"The judges were impressed by the way that Centrica empowered the team to create their innovative approach. As a result the firm has achieved excellent returns on its investment."
