BIFM Award for Technology 2006
Technology plays a day-to-day part in all of our lives both at home and in the workplace. Facilities management applications in technology cover every aspect of our work through CAD, CAFM, BMS etc which we are all familiar with. The advent of e-portals, ASP and major information management systems is set to revolutionise the way we use and share information, but how will this affect our industry?
This is a key issue which must be addressed and we were looking for effective examples of these systems which were already in use in the workplace to be demonstrated.
