BIFM Best Practice in New Build Award
The aim of this Award is to attract wide range of entries embracing retail, hospitals, schools and offices, at all cost levels. A successful entry will need to show that FMs have participated significantly during the process of ‘change management’. The judges recognise that the task of procuring a new building can be complex but, potentially, FM has much to contribute at both the project initiation and post completion stages. Entrants should define the strategies they have adopted in achieving a result that is ‘fit-for-purpose’ and the methods by which they have secured a successful occupation of new premises.
The completed facility must have been occupied for at least six months prior to 31st March 2008 so that our judges cam make an assessment of the project outcome.
