AWARD WINNERS - Creative Space Management

Award Criteria:
Entries are sought from all areas of the FM industry where new products can be shown to make an efficient, cost effective running and management contribution to Facilities Management in general. It can relate to technology, furniture design, products of all types etc.
The primary measure of success will be the ability to demonstrate in what way the Product is innovative in comparison to currently available solutions.The applicant should include sufficient data to back up their submission in terms of cost effectiveness as well as being able to demonstrate the novelty of the solution in a clear and concise way.
The definition of Innovation is "The act of introducing new ideas and methods in a novel way."
Explain the need for the Innovation, how it was developed , any plans for the future and of course the resultant benefits.
Judging Criteria:
Give a full description of the innovation, how it has been applied to a specific project, rationale behinds its conception and how its effect is measured. Include any specific information that you believe will add value to the entry. Also:-
1. Describe why a conventional answer was not relevant/wanted, what research was necessary and the personnel involved in designing the solution.
2. Comment on the relevance of the innovation to FM, and the host business.
3. Give details of any professional advisory teams use
Entries will be evaluated under the following headings:
- Requirement
- How it is innovative
- Cost of development
- Measurement of success including cost effectiveness
- Application in general FM
