Corporate Occupiers Excellence in FM Team

The submission by the Co-Operative FM team reflected the overall contribution to the success of the Co-operative family of businesses. 

The submission was based on an approach to FM service delivery that had been aligned to the current and future strategy of the oganisation. The FM team demonstrably displayed innovative, relevant and sustainable continuous FM improvement for the benefit of Co-operative businesses and for the FM profession. 

A key initiative of the team was their good2Great initiative. It was recognised very early in the team’s evolution that one of the biggest challenges facing FM providers is to change our customer’s perception.

In discussions with stakeholders it became clear that in their view good FM was when there were no issues, when SLAs where met and when budgets were not exceeded.

The Co-Operative FM team displayed evidence in their submission that they were not content with simply satisfying these basic requirements. Their team wanted bigger challenges; to make a difference in their own environment and through a broader perception of FM as a profession, and to demonstrate that the FM team is a key partner for any business.
