With a significant contract value over a duration of 7 years, Babcock Dyncorp supports Defence Estates providing ‘key’ facilities management services across a broad range of FM and design and construction disciplines.

The site visit was organised to the recently mobilised Defence   Animal Centre at Melton Mowbray which is the Centre for Equestrian and Canine training for the MOD. The judges were particularly impressed with the way their Team Charter, which sets out the vision, values, strategy and goals, has been embedded across the wider organisation.  Employees and supply chain partners across a wide range of diverse activities and over a large geographical area work together as a team to ensure confidence in and successful execution in the service delivery. They also commented on communication which, in such a diverse business, is always a challenge, and with the Communication Strategy and Guide developed by Babcock Dyncorp and Defence Estates to support the contract.
