This award recognises organisations which can provide demonstrable commitment to improving the knowledge and skills of their people within the facilities management profession.
Submitting your entry
Entrants must demonstrate their overall commitment to the learning and career development of individuals or teams. The following are examples of what the judges would consider worthy in terms of excellence for this award.
• Commitment to FM qualifications (including apprenticeships).
• Development and implementation of FM related training programmes.
• Mentoring programmes.
• Engagement of people into the profession and the provision of continuing professional development support through the programme and beyond.
Judging criteria
Entrants must present their completed submission via email in the order that addresses the following judging criteria.
1. Long term organisational strategic commitment to learning and development.
2. A structured and well-designed programme that seeks to attract people into the industry and the organisation and provides support in terms of learning and career development.
3. Proven measures of success in terms of contribution to the organisation’s overall goals and objectives. Measures could include staff engagement, staff attraction and retention; customer satisfaction, organisational growth and industry recognition.
4. Positive feedback and testimonials from key stakeholders.
5. Demonstration of the effective use of external sources to assist with the programme.
6. Details of the personal achievements of individuals in terms of promotion and attained qualifications.
