Winner: Justin Lawson
Justin Lawson, Chair of North West branch, has been one of the most active committee members in the North Region. Since being elected, Justin has made a substantial impact on how the branch operates.
6 months into his tenure, Justin set himself a testing target of tripling the opportunities for members to be actively engaged in the region by providing a free, informative, relaxed, social friendly atmosphere to discuss FM topics of interest, exchange views and to share successes.
Area coordinators for network meetings across the North West were recruited, engaged and trained by Justin and now three groups (Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester) regularly meet with 60 plus attendee’s.
Justin’s exceptional dedication, hard work and technical knowledge are second to none within the region, and without his efforts, far fewer BIFM members would be actively engaged with the Institute.
Justin, is, for many in the North West, the first point of call for BIFM related issues.
