Smartworking Summits 2017
Smartworking Summits 2017
Staged three times a year and now in their 15th year, the 2017 Smartworking Summit programme hosted by Quora and supported by BIFM return on the 7 June, and 28 September 2017.
Taking place at 8 Fenchurch Place, London EC3M 4PB, this year's programme considers the impact of the changing nature of work on; the employee lifecycle journey, workplace technologies - an enabler for change; understanding workplace productivity; and achieving genuine corporate sustainability.
Offering a stunning line-up of c-suite speakers, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, CHROs, and Group Property/FM Directors, each speaking with first-hand front-line experience in a PowerPoint-free environment under the Chatham House rule, Smartworking Summits offer a unique experience far removed from the dull 'run-of-the-mill' siloed events.
As we race towards the third decade of the 21st Century, we have at our hands everything necessary to fundamentally transform the entire nature of the way we work. So, what’s holding organisations back?
With their unique blend of seasoned executive speakers stimulating debate throughout the morning and more intimate round table discussions throughout the afternoon, Smartworking Summits are compelling must-attend events for everyone interested in and investing in the changing nature of work.
Smartworking Summits are the events to join industry leaders debating the challenges and opportunities posed by the changing nature of work and the impact on the employee lifecycle journey. Is it surprising that 75% of the hard won newly hired top talent leaves within the first 2 years, or that two-thirds of employees regard their workplaces as poorly optimised for productive work!
Unfortunately, what remains are out-of-step management cultures allied to space lease customs that fail to reflect today’s realities and office fit-outs that focus on trivia rather than the human.
When it comes to the design of work spaces, there are now abundant sensor technologies to refine and continuously adapt space for optimal individual productivity needs. Employees fully understand that work can done from anywhere with a good internet connection, and IT is no longer the domain by nerdy people talking in indecipherable three-letter acronyms.
Over the last 15 years or so, the media, researchers, industry analysts, et al have succeeded in demystifying the complexities of work and that technology is no more complex than a tablet with a simple on-off switch.
BIFM members who wish to attend the Smartworking Summits are entitled to receive a 20% discount on the registration fee, meaning they can book for £180+VAT rather than £225+VAT. For more information, click here or contact email@example.com or +44 (1491) 628654.
