Details The old adage was 'space is at a premium'. Thoughts are now that lighting, heating and cooling that space are also at a premium. Pressure on organisations to take maximum advantage of their space has created a neat link with technology systems, particularly those that can dovetail with a BMS system so making FM life a little bit easier for managing not just the allocation of space but also adjusting the environment for when it is in use.

PeopleCube has developed Resource Scheduler that can help FMs manage multiple buildings across different geographies. Drawing on case studies from both the US and the UK, Simon Willcox (product manager) will demonstrate how an intelligent approach to multiple use spaces can save resources. Future developments include measuring carbon footprint and building user-friendly interfaces that can remember settings and requirements for regular bookings.

We would like to thank our sponsor Steelcase for hosting this event.
