| Details | Building Schools for the Future – was launched by the government in 2003 with the purpose of transforming the way secondary schools function. As part of this programme two specialist advisers have been appointed to ensure that the potential for PE and sport is maximised during this programme. County Sports Partnerships have a major role to play in the Sport Stakeholder Group in each local authority: helping to ensure that the infrastructure is in place to input and influence the local authorities’ strategy and vision. At BSEC09, you can meet with local authorities and find out what their visions are as well as attending two FREE seminars that are directly relevant to you: 12 February 10.30 – 11.15: BSF, physical education and the stakeholder group, led by Liz Delaney, PE & Sports Adviser at Partnerships for Schools. 12 February 14.30 – 15.15: Designing for PE & Sport in BSF, led by Chris Terry, Design Manager and Rebecca Bracey, PE & Sports Adviser, at Partnerships for Schools.
