| Details | Quarterly Training Day Theme: Getting more for less - how FMs can save costs and still maintain service levels - EVENT CANCELLED - The SW Region committee have looked at the various weather forecasts for the Bristol area and feel that we’ve got no choice other than to cancel. As you will be aware, the weather across the South West is not at all good and the 5-day forecast doesn’t look like things are due to improve. Our concern is that as many members have to travel quite a distance to get to Bristol, there is a real risk that on a cold and frosty Monday morning, it will be a journey that may well be too risky to make. Due to the unpredictability of the inclement weather, we are not going to try to rearrange for this year, but may well decide to run with this subject for our first quarterly training day of 2011 which will run in March 2011, date tbc. On behalf of the BIFM SW Region, thank you for your interest in this event and we are sorry to not be able to go ahead with what promised to be an engaging and informative training day, but hopefully you understand that we are at the mercy of the Great British weather!! Please keep an eye on the SW Region events page for details of the March event and we will ensure that you all receive a formal invitation nearer the time. |
