Details BIFM London Region would like to invite you to a carbon cutting evening at Her Majesty’s Treasury where you can learn all about the ambitious 10:10 project and how they are working to unite every sector of British society behind one simple idea: that by working together we can achieve 10% cut in the UK’s carbon emissions in 2010.

Cutting 10% in one year is a bold target, but for most of us it’s an achievable one, and is in line with what scientists say we need over the next 18 months. Politicians have so far failed to do what needs to be done, so it’s time for ordinary people and businesses to step in and show that we’re ready to defend our children’s futures.

10:10 is the perfect opportunity to discover what’s possible when we work together. Let’s get started! And to start we have speakers that will be covering some low cost ways of reducing your carbon emissions and also how to measure your achievements.

Timetable for the evening is

5.45 – 6.15 Arrival and refreshments
6.15 – 6.20 Welcome from event chair
6.20 – 6.35 Learn about 10:10 and what you can do - Dan Vockins, 10:10
