| Details | What powers do inspectors have? Can the police force entry into your premises – without a warrant or permission from the Landlord? If a Fire Safety Inspector calls – do you have to let them in and what powers to they have over the continued operation of your business? Can a HSE Inspector enter your premises and what can they ask of you once inside? These and many other questions will be addressed at our forthcoming forum event “When an Inspector Calls”. Supported by our venue hosts, Bank of America – Merrill Lynch, we will be joined by Julie Kortens, BIFM FM of the year 2010. Our speakers are Superintendent Lorraine Cussen, the highest ranking female office within the City of London Police. As well advising us on police powers Lorraine will also be speaking about Policing and the Business Imperative. Sandra Young, Inspecting Office, London Fire Brigade, will also be discussing powers of inspection and looking a applying the RRFSO and some high profile cases of non-compliance. Kate Field, Sah Sen Consulting, is a former HSE Inspector, willing to give us a behind the scenes look at a HSE visit.
