| Details | The BIFM Scottish Annual Ball Sponsored by Balfour Beatty WorkPlace – 4th September 2010 Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow What are the odds on having a fantastic night, great food and great entertainment at this year’s BIFM Annual Ball? A dead cert we’d say! On Saturday 4th September 2010 the stars will be coming out to play – will you? This year’s ball pays homage to the golden era of the 1950’s when Las Vegas was a byword for decadence, fun and glamour! Think sparkling and sassy cocktail wear with an untied tux and you can’t go far wrong! Everyone will be a winner this year with table prizes and there will be an element of fundraising with all proceeds benefiting the Mary Leishman Foundation. We will also be bringing you a fantastic line up of entertainment that will definitely get the party started! Joining us on stage will be the legendary Big Vern N The Shootas as well as a number of surprise guests. The event will be hosted by Clyde1’s Suzie McGuire. It’s a definite change in format for the event which is a must attend for those working in any aspect of the FM industry. Chairman of the Scottish Region Stephen Curle said: “We really are changing the direction of this year’s event in a break from the format of old. FM companies are leading the way out of the recession and I’m sure that Scottish companies will see the merit in attending an event that allows them to network and reward their staff but perhaps celebrate any recent success stories. “Although things seem to be improving slightly we are not out of the woods yet and the committee has been working hard to reduce costs without compromising on quality and this is reflected in the ticket price for the event.
