Employment claims and disputes:
traps and tips for the unwary

However careful employers are, they are at some point likely to face an Employment Tribunal claim, often through no fault of their own.

Attending an employment tribunal can be a daunting prospect. Although designed to be informal in comparison to civil courts, in practice they have become more process driven with the need to exchange lists of documents and witness statements.

In this practical session, we will give you an overview of the tribunal structure and process, an insight into what witnesses face in terms of giving evidence and being challenged on it, and tips on traps for the unwary.
