|Location||Hilton Worldwide, Maple Court, Reeds Crescent, Watford WD24 4QQ|
What we eat and when we eat it has huge implications for our performance. This is important for all of us but it has particular significance when we consider catering for people in the workplace.
Is the food and drink we provide helping them to work to their optimum or is it preventing them from achieving their potential?
This topical and informative presentation by leading nutritionist and food writer Amanda Ursell will answer these questions and more.
The evening’s presentation will commence with an introduction by Caroline Fry - Chief Executive of Charlton House.
Appointed Operations Manager in 1994 with responsibility for six contracts, Caroline was recently promoted to Chief Executive, with responsibility for feeding upwards of 40,000 Charlton House client employees daily.
Caroline believes that for an employer to help its workforce take care of themselves is more than altruism, it also makes excellent business sense.
Charlton House recognizes that the work it does to promote wellbeing in client sites through its Wellbeingbeingwell initiative is a strong differentiator and gives a significant competitive edge.
The main event of the evening will be a presentation on Catering for Peak Performance by Amanda Ursell.
Amanda is a qualified nutritionist with a post graduate diploma in dietetics. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association; The Nutrition Society and The Guild of Food Writers and is a Visiting Fellow of Oxford Brookes University.
Amanda writes weekly columns for The Times and Sun newspapers and regularly appears on BBC Breakfast News. In 1999 and 2000 Amanda was voted the most influential health professional in the UK. She has been the nutrition consultant to Charlton House’s Wellbeingbeingwell initiative since 2010.
The evening will finish with networking over a buffet provided by Charlton House.
