Executive Committee

The Executive consists of eight employees of the Institute and the chair of the Audit and Governance Committee (a voluntary position). The make up of the Executive is as follows:
  • Chief Executive Officer (Executive Chair)
  • Professional Standards & Education Director
  • Knowledge Director
  • Communication & External Affairs Director
  • Membership Services Manager
  • Finance Manager
  • Company Secretary
  • Operations Manager
  • Audit & Governance
A permanent invitation is extended to attend each Executive meeting to the National chairman, Deputy chairs and the Immediate Past National Chairman.
 
Once every quarter an invitation is also extended to the chairs of the Professional Standards and Education, Knowledge and Membership Committees.
 
Purpose of the Executive
The Executive meets formally monthly and implements the strategy for the Institute through the annual business plan.
 
The full role of the Executive is detailed in the Articles of Association and Bylaws of the Institute.
