East Region
A big welcome to the BIFM East Region. We currently have a small committee who are dedicated to support you and in order to do this we use our contacts and experience to bring you a wide selection of events consisting of interest visits, social activities by way of our East Region qualifier for the national golf finals and finally CPD events. All of our events present a fantastic opportunity for networking as well as personal growth and career development. We are always looking out for new members to join our committee so if you are interested then please contact me on one of the numbers as shown below.
Your committee run a programme of local events throughout the year and advertise via mediums such as the East Region events page, FM World plus via personal email to each East Region member so please remember that if you change your email address, you will need to update your contact details via this website to ensure that you do not miss out!
If you are a keen golfer then do look out for our spring warm up event which will be held in early 2012 and is always well contested in preparation for our East Region golf qualifier where we select a team to represent our region in the BIFM National Golf finals. In addition to these more social events we do have a more serious side where we organise educational and informative events, which are an opportunity to meet colleagues and to network with others within the profession. We really look forward to seeing you at our events and would be delighted if you would like to bring along a guest numbers permitting.
Please introduce yourself either to me or to any of the committee when you attend your first East Region event so that we may welcome you personally. Also, don’t forget that the BIFM offers membership to a number of Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) and Sector Forums that are more specific to certain areas of FM and joining some of these will also benefit you and open up another host of CPD events to you.
