Welcome to the Ireland Region. We represent a growing membership across a wide geographic area stretching from the north coasts of Donegal and Antrim to the delightful county of Kerry, far to the south.
Your regional committee is drawn from our diverse membership and represents the eclectic make up of facilities managers across the region. Equally the region is committed to providing member benefit support across Ireland and we are always looking for fresh ideas and ways to exceed your expectations. You can contact me or any member of your regional committee here.
Currently, the Region consists of two branches across Ireland with the Southern Branch based in Dublin and the Northern Branch based in Belfast. These two branches are now well established and operate an independent, but well-coordinated, event programme for the benefit of local members. Both branches have enthusiastic and dedicated committee of experience and knowledgeable volunteers.
You can contact any of the Southern Branch committee members and the Northern Branch committee members. Your regional committee will concentrate on delivering wider BIFM corporate strategies, coordinate events for both branches and of course and importantly, plan and deliver our annual conference and exhibition.
2016 will also bring with it a significant event plan across the Region, keep a close eye on our regional event pages for more details. Remember our events are generally free, so please do have a look at what is on offer.
Our programme is also listed in the diary pages of FM World. Our intention this year is to create the opportunity for some joint events with partner organisations. In particular we are in discussions with various BIFM Special Interest Groups.
Remember our programme is only as good as your attendance at events, your willingness to host visits and your good ideas, so please do keep sending them in to our event team at branch or regional level and I look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.
