Ireland Region
Welcome to the Ireland Region of BIFM from all of your committee and members.
Your Ireland branch has been operating successfully for 12 years and we hope to continue to do so in the coming years.
We organize and promote various site visits, allowing us the opportunity to look at how some buildings operate from an M&E perspective as well as from an aesthetic and functional point of view. These events also offer an equally important opportunity to network with likeminded colleagues.
Your committee also organizes training courses designed to meet your needs and we are hoping to expand this by introducing seminars to assist you in your role of FM.
Our annual conference usually takes place in Belfast during February or March of each year. This year saw us celebrating our 12th annual conference , which was attended by more than 200 delegates where various FM topics were presented and discussed.
A number of providers to the FM industry also attended the conference where they had the opportunity to promote the services they can provide.
All of our visits and functions are advertised in the quarterly News Letter which is distributed to all of our members throughout Ireland.
I would be delighted if you could attend one or more of our future events which I have no doubt you will find both interesting and stimulating. We welcome any feedback that you may have which might enable us as a committee to support you as a valued member of BIFM.
