Rising FMs

Welcome to Rising FMs special interest group which has been launched by the BIFM to bring together those who are keen to develop their career and are new to facilities management or the Institute.

The new group, chaired by Ismena Clout, will encourage and guide new and rising FMs in the industry; to enable them to engage with the Institute early in their career and to help them shape the industry and Institute for the future.

The group will hold a minimum of four networking events a year which will be open to all BIFM members. Two of the events will focus on topics that affect all FMs, one will include a building tour and one will be solely for networking and socialising. It is also hoped that a member of each regional committee will join the Rising FMs SIG.
