As a shareholder in Transform Schools we design, build, finance and operate education and leisure facilities for 75,000 people across the UK. In this central role, you’ll have management responsibility for operations on our largest Transform Schools concession - Transform Schools Stoke Ltd (TSSL). Since its commencement TSSL has upgraded facilities at 74 schools and built 13 new schools through successful relationships with Stoke City Council, Head Teachers, governors and staff. Building on these relationships, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities management services are delivered to the highest standard. This will involve reporting performance, managing the lifecycle programme, developing a five-year rolling expenditure plan, carrying out HSEQ audits and crucially maintaining excellent customer and client relationships. Along with a diploma or equivalent qualification in project/facilities management, business administration or a relevant technical discipline, you’ll have accreditation from an appropriate professional organisation, such as BIFM. You’ll also have knowledge of the operational delivery of FM services combining all aspects of cost management, tendering and budgets. An in-depth knowledge of health & safety is equally essential, as well as a demonstrable customer service focus and a proactive approach to problem solving.
