| Details | Post Number: 1075 City College Brighton and Hove is the main provider of vocational education in the City. The College is currently developing a £100m Capital Project with the aim of transforming vocational education opportunities across four sites of the city. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join is in bringing about this challenging programme and to achieve outstanding educational and training provision for Brighton and Hove. Along with the skills described below, all applicants must possess a relevant professional qualification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse numerical data and qualitative information and manage budgets. We are seeking an experienced Estates Manager to run our Estates Department which incorporates managing a team of cleaning, maintenance, caretaking and security staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the estates, facilities and services of all the College’s sites and will ensure a safe and effective environment is provided to our learners and staff. You will have previous experience as an Estates Manager and an appropriate qualification to support that experience. You will be pro-active, have strong leadership skills with experience of engaging staff through training, coaching and development. You will have excellent negotiating skills, be able to manage a varied and demanding workload, have first-rate communication skills with the ability to build key relationships and be driven and motivated with the ability to influence.
