New: Employer’s information requirements (EIR)

EIREmployer’s Information Requirements (EIR) Guidance

Employer’s Information Requirements offers a practical overview to support clients using BIM (building information modelling).

Presented in user-friendly manner, it shows clients how to specify their exact requirements for the design and construction phase of a built asset through to its full life-time operation.

The purpose of the EIR will support both FM professionals and clients by providing a template which can be edited and amended by the client or facilities manager to meet individual requirements for the project.

To gain further insight on the EIR please download our overview document. This is available to members here and non-members can gain access here.

If you would like to read the full document then BIFM members can access this here. Non-members you can purchase your guide for £29.99 here.

Alongside the full copy of this documentation is an editable word document to enable you to create your own Employer Information Requirements. This is available to BIFM members  free of charge here. This is available to non-members of the institute on purchase of the full guide here.
