Complete a previous Application

Associate grade is suitable for individuals with two years facilities management experience or a level 3 qualification in FM

Member grade is suitable for those working within facilities management or those with a BIFM Qualification at level 4 or 5. (Additional experience and supporting information will be required and is dependant on the entry route).

Certified Grade is suitable for individuals with a qualification at level 6 or above and three years facilities management experience. (Additional supporting information will be required).

Affiliate grade is open to all with an interest in facilities management. This grade is suitable for those who are starting out in a career in facilities management.

For our assessed grades of Membership (Associate, Member and Certified Grade) you will also be required to supply a current job description and your CV. Depending on your entry route you may be required to supply additional supporting materials.

If you do not have all of your supporting documentation with you today but wish to complete your application, you will be awarded Affiliate Grade. This will allow you to start enjoying the benefits of BIFM Membership straight away.
You will be awarded your full graded level of membership once the supporting documents have been received.
