Group Membership
The BIFM Group membership scheme provides employers with a great way to focus on, reward and support their individual FM employees. Companies offering their staff BIFM membership show that their organisation not only has a firm commitment to FM, but also recognises existing skills and experience and supports opportunities for further development.
The Group scheme provides membership for the company itself, encouraging high level engagement with BIFM, as well as providing membership benefits for employees at the relevant membership grade based on their experience and qualifications. The BIFM currently offers three grades of membership for individuals, two of which are assessed and provide industry recognised post nominal letters. All the individuals within the scheme receive the full BIFM individual member benefits.
The scheme is available to companies joining a minimum of 10 FM staff who can be completely new to BIFM membership, already members in their own right or be part of an existing BIFM Corporate membership scheme.

BIFM facilitate the scheme (for the company and the individuals) through our central administration and account management, ensuring it runs as smoothly and effectively as possible. This includes a company membership with one main contact, centralised invoicing for all staff on the scheme and the administration of transfers of existing individual members.
