Sackur to chair 2008 annual conference

For the first time the BIFM’s annual conference will have a professional chair and facilitator. Stephen Sackur (pictured), presenter of BBC World’s ’Hard Talk’, will guide delegates through the two days and draw together the threads from plenary and parallel sessions.
A journalist with the BBC since 1986, Sackur spent three years based in Brussels as Europe Correspondent. He was previously the BBC’s Washington Correspondent, interviewing President George W Bush, covering the 2000 US Presidential elections and the Clinton scandal.
Sackur has also been the BBC Middle East Correspondent in both Cairo and Jerusalem and was part of the BBC’s team of correspondents covering the first Gulf War.
The BIFM Annual Conference 2008 ‘Sustainable FM – meeting the challenge’ is on 18th and 19th March at Keble College, Oxford.
