From the 15th August to the end of November 2008 CIBSE is running its third annual carbon reduction initiative – the 100 Hours of Carbon Clean up Campaign and will be offering free seminars and online learning tools to all BIFM members.

The campaign is designed to assist organisations seeking to:

  • Access free seminars to learn more about carbon reductions in buildings
  • Reduce carbon reductions from building services
  • Cut the time and cost of preparing for Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates now required by law
Pledge 100 hours of staff time to commit to carbon saving activities and you will receive:
  • An extensive list of carbon saving activities to choose from
  • Free toolkits to reduce your cost of preparing for EPCs and DECs
  • Access to workshops and learning modules that qualify as CPD
  • Eco-freebies as your organisation achieves key milestones
  • Invitations to fun activities that support and motivate your low carbon champions and staff as they contribute to carbon reduction activities
