02-02-09 11:29 BIFM
His appearances on The Wright Stuff, Have I Got News For You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks will have been useful experience before taking on the big one. Yes, Dominic Holland is performing at the BIFM Conference next month.
Holland is one of the UK’s most highly regarded and respected comedians, enjoying success as both a stand-up comedian and writer. His first full length solo show, Red Hot Dutch with Dominic, was a huge success at the Edinburgh Fringe, winning him the prestigious Perrier Newcomer Award.
Dominic will be bringing his sharp, observational comedy to Keble College, Oxford on 31st March 2009, entertaining delegates in the magnificent Dining Hall.
The theme of the conference (31st March to 1st April) is “Sustainability in action - embedding sustainable FM in your organisation”. Speakers will explore sustainability in several dimensions – in organisations and business, through people and skills and of course, the environment.
Holland is the author of three novels, including the critically acclaimed Only
In America. His BBC Radio 4 show The Small World of Dominic Holland was followed up with Holland Shorts. On television, he has recently played a writer in both series of Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive on BBC 3.
As well as great hospitality and entertainment the 2009 BIFM Annual Conference offers over 35 sessions, stimulating keynote speakers, a lively Conference Fringe and a fascinating building visit.
