The Big Picnic

This year, the Macmillan Cancer Support Big Picnic, supported by Somerfield, is back and bigger than ever.

Last year, more than 3,000 picnics took place all around the UK and raised over £200,000 for people affected by cancer  This year, the Big Picnic takes place from 17th to 30th June.

The BIFM would encourage everyone to get together with their friends, families and colleagues to host a picnic and raise money for the two million people living with cancer in the UK.

Every day in the UK, 822 people are diagnosed with cancer. Macmillan's aim is to reach every one of these people, but we need your help to do it. The money you raise can help us to provide vital support and care. And remember, it doesn't even have to be a traditional picnic. Why not have a barbeque or organise a lunch with your colleagues? Anything goes!
