Raising awareness around asbestos

BIFM members are eligible to receive a discount at one of the forthcoming Duty to Manage Asbestos seminars, hosted by Asbestos Testing & Consultancy (ATAC).

ATAC is working in close partnership with the HSE and ALG (Asbestos Liaison Group) members to help promote the series of nationwide road shows. The ALG has devised a 10 Point Plan to help increase awareness and compliance with asbestos regulations and best practice.

The day will include talks on what you need to know about professional indemnity insurance, information on asbestos, choosing the right Contractor for you, the value of UKAS accredited Inspection Bodies, and many more.

The seminar is taking place on Wednesday 15^th July from 9.30am at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow, G3 8QT.
