Money well spent

17-11-09 16:48 BIFM

Money raised at the annual BIFM Awards dinner in October is being divided between three very worthwhile causes.

BIFM Corporate Member, Catch 22, kindly sponsored the Casino on the evening of the Awards Dinner, held at the Grosvenor House in London.  An impressive £8040 was raised, which is being split between BIFM Chairman’s Charities Macmillan Cancer Support and Dogs for the Disabled, and Catch 22’s chosen charity, The Lords Taverners.  Each charity will receive £2680.

The cheque for Lords Taverners will be handed over to their current president, Who Wants to be a Millionaire presenter Chris Tarrant, at a black tie dinner event taking place at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Wednesday 2nd December.

Macmillan Cancer Support and Dogs for the Disabled will be handed their cheques at the 2010 AGM.
