The BIFM Awards dinner held in October, not only proved to be great success for FM industry individuals, but also raised over £8000 for charity from the Catch 22 sponsored casino.
The money raised from the casino was divided between three charities; BIFM Chairman’s charities Dogs for the Disabled and Macmillan Cancer Support, and sponsors Catch 22’s chosen charity, The Lord’s Taverners - one of the UK's leading youth sports and disability charities and the official charity of recreational cricket. Each charity received just over £2,500.
The Lord’s Taverners received their cheque last week (pictured) at an event held at Lord’s cricket ground on Wednesday 2nd December. BIFM Chairman Iain Murray handed the cheque over The Lord’s Taverners president and TV presenter, Chris Tarrant.
Dogs for the Disabled and Macmillan Cancer Support will receive their cheques before the end of the year.
