Is there a big appetite for a catering group?

01-02-10 11:26 BIFM

Whether your catering services are supplied by a contractor or delivered in-house understanding how best to manage the business can often be a constant source of frustration.

Within the FM portfolio catering very often has a small budgetary spend and as a consequence FM Managers tend to have limited knowledge or experience of managing catering services and often find themselves without any support or having to rely on their contractor’s abilities to resolve issues.

To help our members with all catering related matters we are considering launching a Catering special interest group (SIG) in association with Litmus Partnership; an independent catering consultancy who will provide impartial advice and support to members and facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice.

To stimulate interest Simon Biggs, senior partner from Litmus Partnership, will be hosting a series of events during 2010, the first being on 25 March in conjunction with the Home Counties.

If you feel a Catering special interest group would be of benefit to you and your business then please register your interest on the BIFM forums or call 0845 0581356.
