Do you have experience with green rating systems?

23-02-10 11:13 BIFM

IFMA and the IFMA Foundation are currently working on the development of a series of 'how-to' guides that will help educate facility management and other professionals with similar interests on a wide variety of topics associated with sustainability and the built environment.

The most recently published guides, Sustainability in the Food Service Environment, Lighting Solutions and the No-Cost/Low-Cost Energy Savings Guide are available for download on the IFMA Foundation website.

Work has begun on the newest How-to Sustainability Guide, which will focus on green rating systems. The purpose of this latest guide is to bring clarity to a subject that is sometimes considered confusing. How do rating systems differ?  What do they cost?  Who has been successful in obtaining certification and reducing operating costs?

We have developed a survey to hear from facility professionals who have experience with green rating systems, as well as those who are exploring green building certification. Even if your building has not been certified, we’d still like to hear from you.

The survey should take five to ten minutes to complete. In return for your participation, you will receive a copy of the guide prior to publication.

Please take the survey and share your experience today!
