In this day and age, facilities managers can strongly argue that health and safety is of paramount importance to people in day to day work and lives, and as a result the work of the BIFM Health and Safety specialist interest group (SIG) is key to everyone in the industry.

Is the BIFM Health & Safety SIG something that you would be interested in joining?  This call to arms is for interested parties to join as active group members where the group’s activities are wide and varied.  They will range from attendance at group meetings, providing input for government health and safety white papers, provision of collective group views on a variety of safety topics, presenting at industry events, representing BIFM at external safety committees and advising the HSE on industry best practice guides and campaigns.
