Siren calls at the BIFM conference

Described by NME Magazine as ‘the four-piece nuts philharmonic’, sassy and dynamic female string quartet Siren has been confirmed as the headline act at the BIFM Gala Dinner, following day one of the Annual BIFM Conference, Tuesday 13th April 2010.

Graduates of the Royal Academy and Royal College of Music in London, the girls perform independently as a group and as a support act to a variety of international pop and rock artists all over the world, including Gnarls Barkley, Simply Red and Geri Halliwell.

During the sumptuous four course dinner at The Gibson Hall, Bishopsgate, guests will be serenaded by a sophisticated programme of light classical and popular standards, but once the tables have been cleared the foursome change gear, and costumes, to deliver a rousing soundtrack of rock covers accompanied by slick choreography and pulsating backing tracks.

Using their specially designed wireless electric instruments, Siren move and interact with their audience creating a buzzing set piece that is guaranteed to bring guests to their feet.

Tickets to the increasingly popular Conference and Gala Dinner event are available from the booking website www.bifmconference.com or by telephoning 08701 632804.
