The BIFM has launched a photographic competition in celebration of World FM Day, based around the idea of 'Capturing the heart of FM'.

Participants are asked to submit a photograph which portrays the essence of what they think facilities management is about. The photograph must be a Jpeg, non-animated Gif, PNG or Tiff and no larger than 2mb and 1024 pixels in length.

Each submission will be showcased on a flickr account and the winner will be announced in FM World and online.

In addition, the winner will receive two tickets to the BIFM Awards* on 11 October 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

The deadline for submissions is 5pm, Thursday 24th June – World FM day.
