After the huge success in 2009 of WOW - Wipe Out Waste, Footprint Friends and powerPerfector are excited to announce the Wipe Out Waste competition for 2010 is open and the applications are coming in!

WOW are inviting schools age students from year 5 and above to team up and present ONE BIG WOW (Wipe Out Waste) idea for their school to Footprint Friends, for an opportunity to be selected for the WOW finals on 16th September 2010.

The event will be at Start - ’A Garden Party To Make A Difference’ will give guests a rare opportunity to visit the HRH Prince of Wales own gardens at Clarence House, together with his neighbours’ gardens at Lancaster House and Marlborough House.

Students from any school in UK are invited to present their ideas for reducing waste to help save resources and our environment. Their ideas will be judged by a panel of green dragons - some of the Biggest names in climate change.

Check out the invitation to all schools. The winning school will have a complimentary powerPerfector unit installed by the awards sponsor, enabling the school to potentially reduce their energy usage by up to 20%!
