New good practice guide

The early September issue of FM World contains the BIFM’s good practice guide to customer care. This is the next in the Institute’s series of guides designed to explain good practice in a range of facilities management areas.
The current guide presents a practical approach to building a customer service culture. It provides an understanding of why customers have service needs and expectations and what resources can be deployed to meet those needs and expectations.
If you wish to learn more about customer care directly from the authors then why not come along to the Total Workplace Management exhibition 6-7 October at London Olympia where the authors will be on the BIFM stand (D75) and will be giving a presentation in the FM Academy. They will be accompanied by the authors of two other guides on business continuity and risk management which will be launched with presentations at the exhibition.
