BIFM Awards focus: 'In-House FM Team of the Year' category

Entires are open in the BIFM Awards, and here we look in detail at the ’In-House Team of the Year’ Award.
The In-House FM Team of the Year Award recognises the outstanding contributions made by a team in organisations, large or small.
“The BIFM Awards are designed to encourage creativity, innovation and professionalism in our industry and ensure those individuals and companies gain industry recognition. The In-House FM Team of the Year Award is a great opportunity for companies to showcase their achievements outlining their measurable and quantifiable deliverables. So, tell us your great story in 2014 and how this has added value to your organisation.”

Submitting your entry
The team must demonstrate the positive impact and contribution made to the core business they support. The submission must show evidence of how the team provides solutions that are strategically aligned and integrated with key business stakeholders, through a motivated and high-performing team.
The following must be demonstrated in the submission:
1. How the service delivery solution is aligned to the core business.
2. Examples of value-driven initiatives showing tangible results.
3. Illustrations of how the team has created strategic business-focused solutions.
4. Leading-edge ideas and best practice.
5. Descriptions and evidence of good people management, including talent management, succession and recognition.
6. How the service delivery is environmentally conscious and community focused.
How to enter
To enter this category simply complete the online Entry Registration Form at www.bifm.org.uk/enterawards. You will then have until the closing date of 2 May 2014 to submit your entry.
