BIFM Direct has been shortlisted as a finalist in The European Association Awards 2017 within the Best Training Initiative category.

BIFM Direct is the online learning solution for facilities management (FM) professionals wanting to study for a BIFM Qualification in Facilities Management at level 2, 3 or 4. This flexible and cost-effective solution allows a learner  to study online, anywhere, any time and at their own pace.

The European Association Awards recognise excellence and exceptional quality delivered by associations across Europe. The Awards have quickly gained the respect and backing of the industry that they were designed to serve and celebrate. They build on the success of the UK Association Excellence Awards, which attracts 450 + association professionals including more than 40 C-level association leaders from UK associations.

The quality of entries set the benchmark for European associations who wish to reward achievements, best practice and celebrate the impact their organisation has on behalf of its members and the profession and industries that they serve.

Linda Hausmanis, Acting CEO at BIFM said:
“It’s an honour to have been shortlisted for this prestigious Award for a product that has contributed to substantial international growth as a result of  being accessible to learners all over the world.

BIFM believes that education is key to advancing the profession and at the heart of BIFM Direct is its e-learning platform, providing all the resources learners need to undertake an online BIFM qualification.

BIFM works with employers across the globe to embed the BIFM Direct solution within their staff development programmes in order to support the professional development of their employees.  BIFM Direct is attracting new professionals to engage with the BIFM, helping to grow the Institute’s overall global reach and engagement with the wider FM profession, which is central to its purpose. The development of the next generation of FM professionals is helping professionalise FM, providing the industry with the skilled workforce needed to address the challenges of the future.”

Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in Brussels on 24 February 2017
